Free Colon Health Program Offered Monday, March 19
Bluffton, IN—March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Bluffton Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that general surgeon Dr. George Babcock and Family Practitioner Dr. Kevin Schreiber will present an educational program on colon health and colon cancer screening options Monday, March 19, at 7 p.m. in the 4th floor conference rooms of the hospital.
Colon cancer is the third most common cancer in the United States, and – caught early – it’s also one of the most curable. Most cases begin silently as a polyp that causes no or few symptoms. That’s why it is so important to understand both symptoms and cancer screening options. Drs. Babcock and Schreiber will address some of these issues as well as answer questions. The program is open to the public, but seating is limited. Questions should be directed to Tamra Boucher at 260-919-3146.
