Free Stroke Awareness Program Offered Thursday, May 31
Bluffton, IN—May is Stroke Awareness Month. Bluffton Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Board Certified Neurologist Jose Panszi, M.D. will present an educational program on sroke signs and symptoms Thursday, May 31, at 6 p.m. in the 4th floor conference rooms of the hospital.
Stroke is the third leading cause of death – behind cancer and heart disease – and knowledge is power in situations of suspected stroke. Time of the essence as immediate recognition of stroke and administration of treatment protocols leads to significantly improved outcomes. Dr. Panszi will address signs and symptoms as well as answer questions. The program is open to the public, but seating is limited.
