Continuing Care Center
Patients who no longer need acute hospital care may still need short-term skilled care to recover from illness or surgery. Bluffton Regional Medical Center's Continuing Care Center helps residents on the road to recovery and assists them in transitioning home or to the appropriate community facility.
Care is provided by registered nurses, certified nursing assistants and social workers in a relaxed setting that feels a little closer to home. Rehabilitation specialists provide intensive therapy to meet each resident's personal goals. A physician is readily available for consultation and treatment and serves as an integral part of the care team.
